SEN TEACHING ASSISTANTS REQUIRED!
Our partner SEN school in Bury St Edmunds is looking for dynamic and friendly Teaching Assistants passionate about improving outcomes for pupils with SLD and PMLD. You’ll be energetic, creative, and resilient, supporting teaching and learning with small groups and one-to-one support. This challenging yet rewarding role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children with SEND and complex needs.
Requirements:
We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:
* Have knowledge of SEND and a passion for supporting children with complex needs.
* Provide a positive role model for students and colleagues.
* Use a variety of strategies to support diverse needs.
* Have strong interpersonal skills and innovative techniques.
* Help students access a differentiated curriculum.
* Support tasks based on real-life experiences.
* Are passionate about enhancing students’ learning characteristics.
* Follow policies, GDPR guidelines, and maintain confidentiality.
* Participate in CPD opportunities and contribute to school activities.
* Have awareness of safeguarding.
* Hold a valid Enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
