Acoustic Engineering Sales

Overview

Are you an experienced professional in the Acoustic Engineering sector with a strong background in technical sales, marketing, and account management? Do you have a proven track record in the industry and power field, ideally with experience working alongside a major Gas Turbine Original Equipment Manufacturer? If so, we want to hear from you!

Our client is a global leader in the supply of noise control and acoustic products. With the recent opening of new key accounts with a renowned Gas Turbine OEM, they are seeking a talented individual to join their UK team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic organisation and make a significant impact in the industry.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain and develop key accounts within the UK Power Business Unit in alignment with company strategy.
2. Support all aspects of sales, order processing, and liaise with internal drawing/project management teams to ensure seamless operations.
3. Build and sustain strong relationships with key accounts and sub-contractors.
4. Collaborate with the Power Team to achieve targets and budgets set by the company.
5. Develop, establish, and maintain an annual marketing sales plan and budget.
6. Oversee financial aspects related to order acceptance, sales invoicing, cost control, and project accounts in line with company guidelines.

Qualifications

7. MSc/BSc in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
8. Preferably an Acoustic Qualification.

Experience

9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
10. Proven ability to deliver results aligned with company strategy.
11. Skilled in analysing market trends and developments.
12. Strong negotiation skills and a team-oriented mindset.
13. Ability to respond promptly to market trends and conditions.
14. Demonstrated expertise in technical, sales, and marketing within the industry/power sector.
15. A successful track record in sales and account management.
16. Results-driven and profit-oriented.

Day-to-Day

17. Engage with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
18. Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
19. Monitor market trends and adapt strategies to stay ahead in the industry.
20. Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to drive business growth.
21. Manage financial aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with company policies.
