We are seeking a dedicated Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive SEN school in Rochdale supporting pupils with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and complex needs. About the Role: Work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to pupils aged 11-19. Support students in developing independence, communication and social skills. Assist with learning activities, sensory sessions and personal care where required. Create a safe, positive and nurturing learning environment for all pupils. About You: Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable. A patient, compassionate and proactive approach. Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
