Here at AIS, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Support Analyst to join our IT team based onsite in Solihull. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary, depending on experience. AIS is the UK’s and Ireland’s leading fashion, home and leisure buying group with a membership of 280 independent department stores and specialist retailers. We’re a membership of buying power, creativity and expertise! Are you someone who loves solving problems, enjoys helping others, and wants to build a career in IT — but you're not quite sure which path to take yet? If so, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive individual to join our IT team as a Support Analyst. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who’s keen to learn and grow. As a small company, we offer hands-on experience across a wide range of IT areas. If you're someone who enjoys variety, wants to learn by doing, and thrives in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect place to build your career. What you’ll be doing: Be the first point of contact for IT queries — whether it’s over the phone, in person, or via our ITSM tool. Help support business applications (finance, events, marketing etc) and resolve technical issues. Learn how to prioritise and manage multiple tasks — from incidents to mini projects. Build relationships across the business and offer helpful, jargon-free advice. Assist with onboarding new employees and setting up equipment. Monitor systems and escalate issues when needed. Keep our IT asset records up to date. Support the transition of new projects into the service team. Help maintain standards across our IT estate (think tidy cabling, naming conventions, etc.). Work with third-party suppliers to resolve system issues. Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement. Provide support for trade shows and events at Cranmore Park. What we're looking for: A curious mindset — someone who asks “how can I fix this?” rather than “who else can?” A genuine interest in IT and technology. Great communication skills and a team-first attitude. Willingness to learn and take ownership. No need for deep technical experience — just a passion for problem-solving and helping others. Why join us? Supportive team environment with room to grow. Exposure to a wide range of IT areas — perfect if you’re still figuring out your specialism. Opportunities to learn on the job and develop your skills. Be part of a business that values initiative, collaboration, and continuous improvement. What qualifications do I need? Educated to degree level or with relevant IT qualifications Professional approach to customer services A desire to learn and develop new skills A passion for technology and problem solving Benefits| Rewards| Wellbeing 25 days holiday bank holidays (in a full leave year, pro rata for part time employees) Opportunity to buy additional annual leave (up to 5 days per leave year) Birthday leave - no one should work on their birthday so have the day off on us!
