About the Role As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll work within a specialist school supporting children with additional needs, including mental health and communication difficulties. Your role will include: Providing 1:1 and small group support in the classroom Assisting with personal care and maintaining dignity at all times Supporting behaviour management in a calm and consistent manner Helping with moving and handling where required Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence in learning This is a term-time, classroom-based role, with working hours typically 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
