About the Position
* Shift: Sunday - Thursday
* Hours: 10:30 - 19:00
* Location:Rotherham
* Contract:Full-Time and Permanent
The day to day
* Performdaily calibrationof laboratory equipment and assist with quality control checks
* Prepareculture mediaand other materials for microbiological testing
* Operate theautoclaveand ensure proper cleaning and sterilization of glassware
* Maintainstock levelsand support inventory management for lab supplies
* Follow alllaboratory proceduresand safety protocols accurately
* Keep thework area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
The Essentials
* Minimum5 GCSEs(or equivalent), including Science, English, and Mathematics
* Strongattention to detailand ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks
* Aconsistent employment recordand reliable work ethic
* Ability towork independentlyas well as part of a small team
* Basiccomputer literacy: LIMS experience is a bonus
* Apositive, proactive attitudewith a willingness to learn and grow
