Role: As a Head of Group Financial Reporting based in Warwick or Ripon, you will:
* Lead the delivery of the Group's consolidated financial results and accounts, ensuring high-quality analysis, commentary, and disclosures, while managing key relationships, including auditors.
* Manage, mentor, and develop a team of five, driving performance and maintaining a robust control environment.
* Serve as the technical accounting centre of excellence, leading change projects for new standards, and managing the Group’s accounting policies and financial reporting systems.
* Collaborate across functions (Treasury, Tax, Legal, M&A) to support projects and resolve accounting issues, ensuring alignment with external reporting developments.
Qualifications:
* ACA-qualified accountant (or equivalent) with experience in a mid-to-large organisation within a group finance function OR from a Top 10 Audit firm with large client experience (including group consolidated statements).
* Strong IFRS group consolidation expertise and hands-on experience with modern consolidation tools.
* Proven ability to lead financial reporting and implement changes in reporting systems and processes.
* Dynamic leader with a track record of developing high-performing teams and fostering growth.
* Excellent communicator capable of translating complex financial concepts into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
