Service Express UK has a new opening for an experienced Pre Sales Consultant with successful experience in either a pre sales or delivery role.
The Pre Sales Consultant is responsible for providing the link between customer, sales and technical experts to ensure that Service Express propositions are commercially viable, technically fit for purpose and address the customer’s needs now and in the future
What you will do:
1. To fulfil a crucial function within the sales life cycle that provides the vision, benefits and oversight of customer solutions and supports the sales team for all new and growth opportunities.
2. Work with sales and technical colleagues to deliver compelling business proposals and presentations that understand the need of the customer and sell into the gap.
3. The measurement of success for this role is the contribution to Service Express in winning new business that is aligned to Service Express’ services portfolio.
What you will bring:
4. Proven experience in similar pre-sales or delivery role alternatively, a strong technical or engineering background with ambition to transition into pre-sales
5. Experience supporting or delivering managed infrastructure services
6. Strategic mindset with a consultative, customer-centric approach
7. Excellent analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
8. Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as part of cross-functional teams
9. Strong verbal and written communication, with confident presentation abilities
10. Demonstrated strength in building and maintaining trusted client relationships
11. Commercially savvy, with an understanding of how to articulate value to sales teams and customers
12. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and quality in all deliverables
13. Highly organised, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment
14. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
15. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel is essential
16. Familiarity with IBM hardware is desirable but not mandatory

17. Basic salary range £65k – £80k depending on experience
18. Pre Sales quarterly commission plan (OTE £100-110k uncapped)
