About the Role
We're seeking a
Senior/Lead Product & UX Designer
to join our team on a 3-month contract, driving the design of
subscription-based products
for the UK market.
You'll lead
discovery and design efforts
to differentiate free and premium experiences, helping users clearly understand the value of upgrading while maintaining clarity, trust, and simplicity. Your work will shape the
freemium experience strategy
, defining user-centered patterns and implementation rules that balance user needs with business goals.

What You'll Do
* Lead
discovery and user research
to identify and validate monetisation opportunities within a freemium model.
* Design
end-to-end experiences
(user journeys, wireframes, prototypes) that communicate premium value across web and app.
* Collaborate with
cross-functional teams
to ensure alignment between design solutions and business objectives.
* Facilitate
workshops and co-creation sessions
to uncover insights and explore enhancements.
* Deliver
high-fidelity designs in Figma
, from initial concepts to polished UI.
* Champion
accessibility and usability
, ensuring compliance with regulations and user needs.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience designing
digital products
, ideally within
e-commerce or subscription-based SaaS
(feature gating experience a plus).
* Strong
UX and UI design skills
, capable of taking ideas from discovery through delivery.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at
framing problems
and exploring multiple solutions.
* Excellent
collaboration and communication abilities
, including experience with senior stakeholders.
* Proficient in
Figma
and familiar with prototyping and whiteboarding tools.
* Solid understanding of
