We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer with a passion for maintaining equipment performance. This proactive and knowledgeable professional will work on-site at customer locations to support a fleet of welding equipment. Key Responsibilities
* Maintain, calibrate, and service welding and engineering equipment on-site.
* Diagnose and resolve routine and complex faults and breakdowns.
* Ensure all equipment complies with safety and regulatory standards.
* Build strong relationships with clients through excellent service.
* Make informed decisions on repairs and maintenance planning.
* Coordinate routine servicing with client teams.
* Promote health and safety standards on-site.
* Support Speedy's strategic goals with adaptability and a positive attitude.
* Contribute to the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
Qualifications
* Valid UK driving licence (essential for travel).
* Experience in maintaining and repairing welding and engineering equipment, ideally supported by a recognised apprenticeship.
* Proven ability to service welding equipment safely and efficiently.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for building client and team relationships.
* Self-motivated, organized, and professional problem-solver.
