We are looking for a practical Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced production environment in Newark.
This is a proper hands-on engineering role. You will be fault finding, fixing breakdowns, maintaining equipment, keeping machinery running and making sure downtime is kept to a minimum.
You will need to be confident working on mechanical and electrical issues, able to diagnose faults quickly and comfortable taking ownership when something needs sorting.

Hands-on maintenance role with real variety
The job You will be responsible for keeping production and site equipment running safely and efficiently.
This will include planned maintenance, reactive repairs, breakdown response, alarm system checks, equipment servicing and general engineering support across the site.
You will be expected to investigate faults quickly, carry out repairs properly and keep accurate records of work completed.
What youll be doing Fault finding on mechanical and electrical equipment
Responding to breakdowns and reducing downtime
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
Maintaining production equipment and automatic handling systems
Checking and maintaining alarm systems
Carrying out servicing and repair work
Supporting safe operation of equipment
Keeping maintenance and breakdown records up to date
Liaising with managers about current and future equipment issues
Supporting stock and spare parts control
Keeping workshop and stores areas tidy and safe

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A reliable, practical and safety-conscious approach
Willingness to work 4 on 4 off days and nights
