Concern Worldwide is committed to inclusion, compassion, and humanity, and strives to tackle extreme poverty in fragile contexts. The HRIS Lead will manage the Global Human Resource Information System project, ensuring fit‑for‑purpose design and implementation across office locations.
Role Purpose
The HRIS Lead will oversee the day‑to‑day management of the Global HRIS project, working with steering committees and project teams to define scopes, manage timelines and budgets, mitigate risks, coordinate resources, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Oversee implementation of the Global HRIS, ensuring completion on time, within budget and to specification.
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Proactively manage scope and all issues, adopting a problem‑solving approach.
* Manage change aspects of the project and work closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and adoption of the new system.
* Lead and develop two direct reports (IT Project Manager, HRIS Project Implementation Technical Specialist) through direction, delegation, coaching and performance management.
* Track project progress and provide regular status updates and performance reports to key stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the selected HRIS vendor(s) / implementation partner(s) to translate Concern’s needs and procedures into coherent system specifications.
* Develop test scripts based on internal procedures and system requirements.
* Identify subject‑matter experts for system and user acceptance testing; organise and participate in testing to ensure functionality.
* Develop training materials for HR and back‑office users as well as end users/employees.
* Identify and support core users who will transition data from legacy systems, ensuring accuracy and proper formatting.
* Keep the People Director and Project Director informed on all project aspects throughout the lifecycle.
* Communicate project status at scheduled oversight and steering group meetings and serve as a central source of project information.
* Coordinate and/or deliver any new global projects assigned by HR Management.
* Uphold and promote Concern’s values, demonstrating leadership on equality, diversity, inclusion and safeguarding ethos.
* Participate in emergency response as required.
Qualifications
* Strong commitment to Concern’s mission and values.
* Postgraduate qualification in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
* Significant, proven experience in humanitarian Human Resources management.
* Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing global HRIS.
* Experience in salary benchmarking and development of pay structures.
Requirements
* Legally entitled to work in Ireland, the UK, or any Concern operational country at the time of application.
* Prepared for up to six two‑week visits to programme country offices annually.
Location & Salary
Dublin, London, Belfast or other Concern office locations. Pay is benchmarked for the country of application.
Salary: Global Band 7. Examples – Republic of Ireland: €70,088‑€77,875; Great Britain: £49,613‑£55,125; Northern Ireland: £46,140‑£51,267.
