About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join our vibrant and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and engage students in the wonders of science. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons and contributing to the continuous improvement of our science department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events related to the science department.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Science or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
