A well-established, FCA-regulated general insurance business on the outskirts of Bolton (Egerton) is looking for an experienced Senior Motor Claims Handler to join its claims team.
This is a great opportunity for an established claims professional to take on more complex motor claims, support the wider team and progress with fully funded CII qualifications.
You'll manage a portfolio of FNOL (First Notification of Loss) and accidental damage motor claims end to end, including more complex cases, working with policyholders, insurers and suppliers to reach fair and timely outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing a caseload of motor claims, including more complex cases, from start to finish
- Assessing claims, reserving and progressing them towards settlement
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced handlers
- Liaising with policyholders, insurers and suppliers
- Ensuring full compliance with FCA and regulatory standards
What you'll need:
- A minimum of 2 years' motor claims experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good attention to detail and organisation
- CII qualifications, or a willingness to complete them (fully funded)
