Senior Engineer Peterborough/Lincolnshire
Salary: Negotiable Depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
The Company: Based just outside of Peterborough, you will be joining a well-known, innovative electronics manufacturing company with a large UK and international presence, currently on a continuous growth journey. Due to expansion and new product development, they are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their team in developing bespoke and iconic electronic systems used across various industries, including aerospace, military, and aviation.
Role Overview: Ideally, the company seeks an experienced Electronics Engineer with leadership qualities for a senior position. The engineer will be responsible for electronic engineering activities, including design, development, testing, and documentation of products and manufacturing test systems.

Responsibilities
1. Carry out electronic engineering design and development to meet project requirements.
2. Design and develop PCB layouts and specifications.
3. Support the activities of the Test & Acceptance team.
4. Develop test plans, execute testing, and write test reports.
5. Participate in hardware design and build processes.
6. Adhere to strict health & safety standards.
7. Develop new processes and lead on projects and tasks.
8. Mentor junior team members and support their career development.
Note: Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Skills and Experience
* Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Degree qualified or equivalent (e.g., HND) in a relevant technical discipline.
* Knowledge of communications systems equipment specification, design, or testing.
* Understanding of electronic circuit design, prototyping, and development.
* Ability to work independently or within a small team, acting as a senior member.
* Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
* Strong team leadership skills.
