Customer Experience Assistant
Temporary contract until 31 May 2026. Hybrid working – more than 40% on site at Marmion House, Tamworth.
Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire.
Salary: £25,185 - £25,989 per annum.
Hours: 37 hours per week.
About the role
Deliver exceptional customer experiences by handling enquiries across multiple channels including telephone, digital, and an in‑person reception at Marmion House. Resolve a wide range of enquiries, signpost customers to partner agencies, and maintain seamless service for Tamworth residents.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality customer service across all contact points.
* Handle enquiries promptly and accurately.
* Resolve a variety of enquiries and refer to appropriate agencies when necessary.
* Maintain accurate records and compliance with council policies.
* Collaborate with team members and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications and experience
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
* Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
* Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office.
* Good written and verbal English.
* Customer‑service focused with an empathetic approach.
* Methodical and organised.
