Principal Environmental Engineer – Surrey - £60p/hr (Outside IR35)
Parity Network are recruiting on behalf of an engineering and technology organisation, who are looking to recruit Principal Environmental Engineer for an initial 9 months. This role will be full on site working, 5 days per week in their Leatherhead offices. Hybrid working, 2 days per week will be considered. This role pays up to £60p/hr (DOE) and is likely to be deemed Outside IR35.
Job Experience & Responsibilities:
As part of a project team, perform all aspects of Working Environment scope area. Familiar with prevailing regulations and requirements for environment.

5. Emission and Discharges Inventory
6. Equator Principles Study
7. Environmental Impact Assessment
8. Environmental Impact Mitigation
9. Environment Baseline Study
10. Environmental ALARP Pollution Control Study
11. GHG emission and Carbon Tax Study
12. Carbon Accounting / Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessment (EEOA)
13. ENVID Chemical exposure Radiation
Participate, provide input, and facilitate design and construction reviews, with emphasis on environment. Provide input to survey-checklist and reports. Provide input to internal design specifications and specifications towards suppliers and third parties. Follow up supplier – quality and timeliness – with respect to environmental engineering deliverables. Close cooperation with other disciplines and departments to ensure working environment requirements are known and implemented in their deliverables.
Additional Information
Experience from Oil & Gas sector preferred. Preferably the candidate will have working-knowledge and experience in LNG.
