Salford Community Leisure - Marketing & Communications Officer (Fixed Term, 6 Months)
Salford Community Leisure (SCL) is a dynamic, non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of people in and around Salford through sports, leisure, culture, and well-being. Salford is one of the fastest-growing local authority districts in England and Wales, becoming increasingly diverse. The city faces ongoing health challenges and inequalities, with strategies in place to address them. Physical activity, creativity, learning, and community development are key to improving lives.
This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months.
We are seeking a candidate to help us develop brand recognition and communicate who Salford Community Leisure are, and the value we offer across the city. This will involve creating meaningful connections with our audiences and establishing strong cross-promotional links between services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create a compelling brand narrative that resonates with our audience and reinforces our identity.
2. Develop high-quality marketing materials to facilitate collaboration between services and maintain consistent, engaging messaging.
3. Identify opportunities to cross-sell services by focusing on Salford Community Leisure’s audience groups.
4. Enhance audience engagement through successful PR campaigns.
5. Tell the stories of our service users through written case studies and video content.
This role will be crucial in increasing visibility and engagement, establishing Salford Community Leisure as a trusted and recognized brand within the community.
