Multi Skilled Engineer TXM Recruit are currently working with a property management company who provide a dedicated VIP service to worldwide clientele, and we are looking for an Multi Skilled Engineer to work across their Newmarket Estate. Location: Newmarket Salary: £42,000plus £3,000 for overtime allowance Location: Newmarket Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8-4 or 9-5) weekend rota during peak season only Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, generators, and related machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions promptly. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of mechanical systems. Respond quickly to emergency repair requests, minimizing downtime and disruptions to estate operations. Collaborate with team members, contractors, and external service providers to coordinate repairs, upgrades, and installations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory management. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in mechanical engineering to apply innovative solutions. Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in planning and executing capital improvement projects, including equipment upgrades, energy efficiency initiatives, and system enhancements. Provide technical guidance and support to other staff members as needed. Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions. Full UK driving license.
