Key Responsibilities:
As a science teacher, you’ll play a vital role in shaping young minds. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Planning and Teaching:
1. Design engaging lesson plans aligned with national and school guidelines.
2. Foster a love for science by creating interactive and thought-provoking learning experiences.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Classroom Management:
4. Set clear expectations for behaviour, safety, and academic performance.
5. Maintain discipline while encouraging a positive learning environment.
6. Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse student needs.
Collaboration:
7. Work closely with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum.
8. Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
9. Support extracurricular science activities and events.
Student Support:
10. Understanding individual student needs, including those with special requirements.
11. Encourage student participation and engagement.
12. Inspire a lifelong curiosity about science.
Qualifications:
13. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
14. Passion for science and amitment to student success.
15. Excellentmunication skills and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
