Keen to apply your electrical, control and instrumentation skills to support waste-to-energy and sustainability? Join us as an EC&I Maintenance Technician at our Energy Recovery Facility in Huddersfield, where we convert residual waste into renewable power and help build a cleaner future.
At SUEZ, we act for what truly matters — for the environment, for society, and for the future. This is the place for people who want to make a real impact, not just watch from the sidelines. Join us and help drive positive change through innovative solutions that build a more resilient and sustainable world.
What will I be doing?
You'll help keep our advanced control systems running safely and efficiently:
1. Deliver planned and reactive EC&I maintenance across the plant to maximise reliability and performance.

3. Diagnose and troubleshoot PLCs and instrumentation issues quickly and effectively.
4. Offer guidance, supervision and development support to junior technicians and the wider team.
We understand that you may have morning school runs or caring responsibilities, and offer flexibility around core hours to support this.
What are the requirements?
5. Completed relevant engineering apprenticeship and qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
6. Solid experience in PLCs, instrumentation troubleshooting, and DCS systems.
7. C&G 2377 PAT Testing qualification.
8. Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or similar; training support available if needed).
