Job Description
As an MRICS Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be capable of working in all areas of Cost ManagementKey responsibilities:· Undertaking benchmarking and feasibility estimates;· Preparing detailed budget estimates and cost plans;· Preparing measured quantities for tender documents;· Preparing tender documents including drafting preliminaries and general conditions;· Conducting tender evaluations and compiling tender reports;· Preparing interim valuation recommendations;· Preparing cost reports and final accounts including the evaluation of Contractor's claims;· Delivering effective cost management services generally pre and post contract;· Reporting direct to clients, including preparing clear and concise advice in emails and other reports;· Attending meetings with clients, contractors and fellow consultants.
The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for this MRICS Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you must demonstrate:- Degree in Quantity Surveying;- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the building consultancy environment (Main contracting experience will not be considered);- MRICS Qualified;- Track record of working on projects with individual values of at least £10m;- Pre and post contract experience is required.
