Sourcing Analyst - Supply Chain
Location: Sidcup, Kent, UK
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Arrangement: 100% Office-based
Travel: Required up to 3 times per year (within EMEA region)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Sourcing Analyst to join our Supply Chain team based in Sidcup, Kent. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a motivated professional with a background in manufacturing supply chain and strong Excel skills. The successful candidate will support our EMEA sourcing strategy through supplier evaluation, cost management, and cross-functional collaboration. Occasional travel within the region is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct market research and analysis to inform and optimize sourcing decisions.
* Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and production capacity.
* Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable contracts and supply agreements.
* Drive cost-reduction strategies and monitor supplier performance metrics.
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., engineering, production, quality) to align sourcing with business needs.
* Analyze procurement data and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
* Improve procurement processes and contribute to efficiency initiatives.
* Oversee contract lifecycle management and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
* Manage tooling condition reports, asset tagging, and associated documentation.
* Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH).
Qualifications & Skills:
* Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
* Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
* Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
* Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 3 times per year.
