Job Description
* Overseeing the accounting operations, including the review of journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and statutory reporting.
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Variance analysis
* Accruals and prepayments
* Conducting detailed financial analysis to provide management with an accurate picture of the company's financial situation.
* Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
* Working with external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
* Developing and implementing financial systems and controls to improve efficiency.
* Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
* Performing ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
* Supporting with the management of the finance team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA).
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
* Experience with financial reporting requirements.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in accounting software.
