Job Description
A global architecture and design business with a portfolio that includes iconic buildings almost everywhere, is investing heavily in the expansion and enhancement of it's London interior design team; and as part of this expansion is now seeking to appoint a Design Director.
Working as part of a management team of five; you'll be leading projects and teams for projects in the leisure and hospitality sector for high profile sporting and events clients.
As a design lead, you'll be highly adept at shaping a brief, creative direction and strategy, whilst inspiring your team to deliver innovative, highly immersive designs as the best in their field.
With the client's buildings typically being multi-use, no two days will ever be the same with you and your team potentially designing the highest class restaurants and hospitality areas, retail, workplaces and public areas.
You'll be an excellent designer with management experience, adept at mentoring team members, creating a fantastic client experience and coordinating across disciplines to deliver projects of the highest standard on time, and within budget. You'll likely to have experience of leading projects of substantial scale and you'll be as comfortable sketching, as leading meetings.
