About The Role
As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the service.
Your role will include cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, corridors, and staff areas. You will follow cleaning schedules and infection prevention guidance, using equipment and cleaning products safely and correctly.
You will work as part of the wider team, understanding that your role plays a direct part in keeping service users safe and comfortable. Attention to detail matters. Consistency matters. Doing the job properly, even on busy days, matters.
Your working hours will be 09:00–14:00, five days per week, worked fairly across seven days for our 25 hours per week role
Or
Your working hours will be 16:00–19:00, three days per week, worked fairly across seven days for our 15 hours per week role
About You
You do not need previous experience in care, but you do need a strong sense of responsibility.
You take pride in your work and understand that high standards are not optional. You follow guidance, work methodically, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
You understand the importance of confidentiality and respect people's privacy when working in bedrooms and personal spaces.
You are reliable, consistent, and willing to learn. Full training and support will be provided.

About The Service
Epinal Way Care Centre in Loughborough brings together three specialist units within one building: Matthews Neuro-Rehabilitation, Aarons Dementia, and The Hall Mental Health. Each unit provides focused support while sharing the wider resources of the centre.
Matthews supports people with acquired or traumatic brain injury, neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, and those requiring palliative care. Aarons is a nurse led dementia unit for people with complex needs, providing a safe and therapeutic environment. The Hall supports individuals with long standing mental health conditions, delivered in a structured and recovery focused setting.
Care is person centred and delivered by a skilled multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, psychology, and support staff. Clean, safe, and well maintained environments are a key part of the care experience and play an important role in wellbeing and dignity.
