The Role
As a Majestic Trainee Manager, you will participate in a 12-month development program designed to give you comprehensive operational, service, and leadership experience, preparing you to become a future Store Manager. You will follow a structured career pathway training program with support from your Store Manager, setting you up for success.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver outstanding customer service, acting as a store ambassador and supporting the team to create an exceptional shopping experience.
* Drive store performance by maximizing sales opportunities, focusing on key KPIs, and exceeding targets.
* Build customer loyalty through exceptional service and personalized engagement, including contacting customers with updates and tastings.
* Promote products passionately, manage tasting events, and maintain an enticing tasting counter.
* Enhance your wine knowledge continually to support your WSET qualifications and sales confidence.
* Maintain the store's appearance and operational standards internally and externally.
* Participate in daily operational tasks, including stock deliveries, merchandising, and customer outreach to boost sales.
* Identify and implement improvements to optimize store operations.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, health and safety regulations, and mandatory training.
* Take ownership of personal development and support junior team members, providing feedback to your Store Manager.
Knowledge & Skills Required
* Experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment, working as part of a team.
* Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills under pressure.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Positive attitude and passion for resolving problems.
* Adaptability and resilience to changing business needs.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Wine knowledge is beneficial; passion for learning more is essential to achieve WSET Level 2 & 3.
* Valid UK/EU/EEA driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
