Site Manager / Project Manager – Demolition South Wales / South West £55,000 – £65,000 Vehicle Bonus Benefits We’re working with a leading contractor in the UK demolition sector that is looking to strengthen its operational team with an experienced Site Manager / Project Manager. This position offers the chance to take ownership of complex demolition and enabling works schemes across the South West, backed by a business known for delivering safely, sustainably, and to an exceptional standard. The Role As a Site Manager / Project Manager, you’ll take day-to-day responsibility for running demolition projects on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and client expectations. You’ll oversee site teams, coordinate subcontractors, manage daily operations, and support project planning and reporting. Responsibilities Manage demolition and enabling works activities across live project sites Lead site teams, ensure safe working practices, and drive productivity Coordinate subcontractors, plant, permits, logistics, and daily site operations Monitor programme progress, quality standards, and site records Ensure strict compliance with HSE/ CDM regulations and environmental controls Liaise with clients, local authorities, and internal project managers Assist with pre-start planning, RAMS, methodology, and site documentation Support cost control, material planning, and variations where required The Ideal Candidate Experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager within demolition or enabling works Strong understanding of demolition techniques, temporary works, and waste management Able to manage site teams and maintain high levels of safety, quality, and organisation Confident communicator who can represent the company professionally on-site Proactive problem-solver with good commercial awareness Essential: CCDO/CSCS, SMSTS, Asbestos Awareness (ARCA/UKATA) Full UK driving licence Package Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience) Company vehicle or allowance Performance bonus Pension & benefits package Strong long-term career development opportunities
