We have a unique opportunity for a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Associate to join our highly successful Commercial Property team in either our Poundbury, Yeovil, Taunton or Exeter office. Our excellent team have a varied and high-quality caseload from commercial leases to property development (options, conditional contracts, promotion agreements). We also have a growing renewables sector. You will play a key role in the team supporting clients with all elements of commercial property matters whilst also being instrumental in executing our growth strategy and will be involved in all things business development whilst having the support of a dedicated and efficient team. Key Responsibilities Role responsibilities include but are not limited to: Handling a wide caseload of commercial property matters including sales, acquisitions, development, leases and investment work. Managing transactions from start to finish with confidence and commercial awareness. Draft, review, analyse, and negotiate an extensive range of legal documents pertinent to commercial property transactions, maintaining meticulous attention to detail throughout. Provide clients with comprehensive guidance and advice on all aspects of commercial property law, ensuring their requirements are addressed with utmost professionalism and consideration. Building long-term relationships with clients and professional contacts. Getting involved in business development and networking initiatives. Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team. Experience in agricultural matters is an advantage but not essential. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Joining our reputable Commercial Property department, this role would best suit someone who has at least 2-5 years’ PQE in commercial property, is ambitious, pro-active, and enthusiastic, with great interpersonal skills. As a qualified Lawyer you will have excellent commercial property experience with business development and networking skills to match. The right candidate will have a growth mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture. We are looking for a candidate with either an interest in agricultural property work or proven experience in handling the sale, purchase and development of rural property and land alongside strong commercial property background.
