As a Product Procurement Engineer, you will manage part development and quality feedback loops for New Product Introduction (NPI), Continuous Product Improvement (CPI), and New Source Introduction (NSI) activities. Key Responsibilities: Manage APQP and cost management activities from concept to PPAP. Work with packaging, transportation, business resources, supply chain, and other functional areas to implement product supply strategies. Manage quality feedback loops to apply lessons learned on quality defects across the supply base. Drive VAVE through cost modeling, design for manufacturability, and leveraging suppliers’ capabilities. Effective Communications: Review and provide feedback on others' writing or presentations. Adapt documents and presentations for the intended audience. Demonstrate empathy and assertiveness in communication. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Supplier Management: Follow procedures for routine supplier management tasks. Use electronic systems to record/retrieve supplier information and carry out transactions. Resolve routine supplier issues and escalate non-routine issues. Research alternative vendors or suppliers and participate in supplier selection. Ensure purchases meet delivery date and quality specifications.
