Arable Farm Worker / Farm Operative – Nottinghamshire - £29,000
The Job:
The role involves supporting daily farming operations and working across a variety of agricultural activities. Applicants should have previous farming experience and be confident operating modern agricultural machinery. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a range of modern farm machinery
- Assist with planting, cultivating and harvesting operations
- Carry out general farm maintenance and upkeep
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Work closely with the wider farming and production teams
The Company:
A third generation family business based in Nottinghamshire and Norfolk. They grow, pack and store root vegetables, potatoes and grain for major retail customers. We are a strong, professional and forward thinking business committed to our customers, our employees and environmental responsibility.
The Candidate:
- Previous experience within agriculture or farming
- Experience operating farm machinery safely and efficiently
- Good understanding of health and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Flexible approach to seasonal working hours

- Competitive salary of £29,000 DOE

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, with weekend work required on a rota basis.
Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
