Department overview:
Nomura Financial Products Europe ('NFPE') is seeking to enlarge its Liquidity Management Team in Frankfurt. Being part of Nomura's Treasury Function the team manages the liquidity for the Continental European business. The successful candidate will support the enhancement and maintenance of a robust and effective Treasury function across Nomura's Business in Continental Europe.
Tasks
Support Head of Liquidity Management in leading and further developing the Treasury function in Continental Europe in a growing environment
Maintaining and monitoring liquidity to meet regulatory and internal requirements
Review and coordinate regulatory submissions and internal MI for Liquidity
Support local Head of Liquidity Management in liquidity discussions with stakeholders including regulators and the Management Board
Work with peers in the Group Treasury Team to ensure regulatory submissions, risk management and processes are in compliance with Group and External policies and achieve strategic consistency
Working closely with peers in the other departments including Risk Management, Financial Accounting and other Treasury Teams
Prepare and coordinate Treasury input for the local assets and liabilities committee
Oversee Treasury liquidity portfolios including liquidity buffer assets
Key objectives critical to success:
Previous experience and traceable deliveries in a Treasury related function
Problem solving oriented
Capability to work remotely within a team across multiple locations
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
Essential
3 years of experience in bank or broker dealer treasury function
Clear sense of financial and operational risk management
Strong analytical skills
Strong knowledge and understanding of EU banking regulations, including CRR II is beneficial
Master's degree in business administration, finance or similar
