An exciting new opportunity to join a market leading Fit Out Contractor, overseeing a fit out project from initial conception through to completion.
Construction Project Manager responsibilities:
1. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to develop and implement project requirements and programmes
2. Assist with appointment of subcontractors
3. Management of procurement process for projects
4. Conduct weekly meetings to facilitate process of projects
5. Work with Site Managers to ensure projects comply with building regulations
6. Oversee on-site Health & Safety implementation, checking method statements and risk assessments
7. Track and manage variations against the budget
8. Liaise directly with Site Supervisor to ensure that all materials and plant are on-site when required
9. Check and approve subcontractor invoices
10. Communicate relevant project information to the client and wider team in a timely and efficient manner
11. Ensure a high level of service is delivered to the customer at all phases of the contract
Construction Project Manager requirements:
12. Proven track record of success in Project Management within Construction industry
13. Commercial awareness
14. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
15. Strong decision maker with the ability to delegate tasks and mitigate risks effectively and efficiently
16. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
17. IT competent
18. Ability to lead and motivate teams
19. HNC or Degree in Construction Management or equivalent
20. CSCS card
21. SMSTS
22. FAW
