As a Goods In & Warehouse Operator within Clarendon Fine Art, you will take responsibility for ensuring all artwork and products are correctly, adequately and safely stored and loaded / unloaded to vehicles and meet quality standards to fulfil our organisational needs.
You will be expected to ensure you have the correlating paperwork and product within the warehouse to ensure stock is traceable secure and meets our high quality expectations contributing to an effective, timely and positive delivery of our products.
You will have the ability to work towards deadlines and plans and you will always present a professional, proficient and proactive image and level of support to your colleagues and overall business which falls in line with our high value products and reputation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collating items and products being dispatched / returned via the logistics team ensuring they are racked, stored & secure whilst ensuring all corresponding paperwork is available.
2. Scanning and systematic checking of artwork to correlate with manifests along with any ad hoc administration ensuring operating procedures are complied with.
3. Checking and monitoring all products to ensure they achieve our quality standards at all times.
4. Communicate key information accurately and feedback promptly to your line manager.
5. Ensure full compliance and understanding to both legal and company frameworks promoting safe, consistent and compliant working practices throughout.
6. Proactively involve yourself in the development of Warehouse and Goods In process to enforce a culture of continual improvement.
7. Maintain systemic trails of documentation to ensure performance, audit and knowledge share is exceptional.
8. Quality inspecting of all items received to check for any damage and report as needed.
Skills
9. Good communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate with stakeholders at all levels projecting a positive demeanour at all times.
10. Previous experience in a warehousing / goods in role, working at height and regular manual handling.
11. Excellent attention to detail.
12. Approachable and proactive.
13. Ability to acknowledge and understand when to escalate matters to line manager.
14. Ability to work unsupervised and promptly respond to requests.
15. Ability to adequately prioritise a busy and demanding workload, achieving within management support.
16. Proven ability to foresee problems to prevent them happening and work compliantly within legal frameworks.
17. Proficient IT skills, working within both Microsoft and bespoke software platforms.
