Clinical Lead (Registered Nurse)
Our client, a well-established and reputable care provider, is currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Lead (Registered Nurse) to join their nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality clinical care while supporting and leading a team within a care home environment.
Working closely with the Home Manager, the Clinical Lead will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of clinical care, governance, and compliance. The successful candidate will help ensure residents receive safe, effective, and person-centred care while supporting and guiding the wider nursing and care team.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Home Manager in overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical care.
* Lead, support, and mentor nurses and care staff within the home.
* Ensure residents care needs are assessed, planned, and delivered to the highest standard.
* Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements including safeguarding, clinical governance, and care audits.
* Promote best practice in nursing and ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
* Contribute to clinical decision-making and respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
Skills & Experience
* Strong clinical skillset with the confidence to lead and support a nursing team.
* Previous management experience or experience leading a small team.
* Ability to make sound clinical decisions and remain calm under pressure.
* Passion for promoting high standards of nursing practice.
* Experience mentoring, training, or supporting colleagues.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DoLS, CQC regulations, and compliance.
Education & Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
* Relevant post-registration clinical experience.
