Position Details
Support Worker - Saundersfoot, Awel Y Mor - £12.60 to £12.80 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience - 38 hours per week.
* Sign up before 30th May 2025 and earn £500 when you start a permanent role with us. We will pay £250 after completing shadow shifts and another £250 after 3 months (paid in the next payroll).
* This offer is available to anyone offered a role on or after 1st May 2025, excluding bank staff or former employees returning within 6 months.

Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care to individuals with autism, helping them lead active and fulfilling lives. You will tailor support to individual needs and work closely with each person.
Awel Y Mor
Located near Saundersfoot harbour, Awel y Mor is a welcoming home for up to three adults. It features spacious bedrooms, communal lounges, a modern kitchen, and a landscaped garden. Our team works to ensure residents feel supported and happy.
Typical Day
* Provide person-centred care and support.
* Assist with daily activities like personal care, meals, and household tasks.
* Encourage participation in community activities and interests.
* Build positive relationships with individuals, families, and stakeholders.
* Monitor and record progress, following care plans.
* Support individuals in achieving goals and developing skills.
* Maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
Candidate Requirements
* Compassionate and caring nature.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Resilience and patience.
* Willingness to learn and follow guidance.
* Basic IT skills.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and nights.
* Must have a driver’s license.
Additional Notes
This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
