About the Role:
As a
Residential Support Worker (RSW), you will:
Provide day-to-day care, support and guidance to children and
young people
aged 818
Promote emotional well-being and help manage challenging behaviours using trauma-informed approaches
Encourage positive routines, independence, and life skills
Support educational, recreational, and therapeutic activities
Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team and external agencies
About You:
Experience working with children or
young people
(residential care, education, youth work, etc.)
A full UK drivers licence
Understanding of Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and safeguarding practices
A calm, patient, and resilient nature
Excellent communication and team-working skills
Willingness to undertake training and development (including NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare if not already held)
Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
