Overview
My client, a leading manufacturer in the food production sector, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team. The role operates on a continental shift pattern and offers a competitive hourly rate with excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
* Perform planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standard operating practices.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
* Accurately document maintenance activities and update technical records.
* Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
* Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
Criteria
* NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or Mechatronics.
* Minimum 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
* Proficient in reading technical drawings and working under pressure.
* Willingness to work at heights, in confined spaces, and on a rotating 12-hour shift pattern.
* Experience in the food or dairy industry.
* 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations.
* HNC/HND in Engineering.
