What you’ll be doing
1. Coordinate closely with Product Owners and Business Process Owners to ensure alignment between business processes and solution design.
2. Work collaboratively with Business Process Owners to drive continuous process improvement, including training and upskilling activities.
3. Take a hands-on role in system configuration and functional testing.
4. Provide specialist support during production incidents, including triage and resolution.
5. Create, manage, and maintain delivery artefacts, including functional designs and process documentation.
6. Support high-quality delivery across the SAP Utilities Retail landscape.
Location & working pattern
7. Base location: Hybrid – Walnut Court, SN2 8BN
8. Working pattern: 36 hours per week
Essential experience and skills
To succeed in this role, you will have:
9. Strong ability to understand business requirements and translate them into functional solutions, specifications, and system configurations.
10. Experience creating delivery artefacts, including process flows, functional designs, and design documentation.
11. Specialist knowledge of SAP IS-U Billing, including:
12. Master Data
13. Rate Structures
14. Budget Billing
15. Payment & Instalment Plans
16. Exception Management
17. Invoice Management
18. Knowledge of Customer Services integration with CRM platforms.
19. Understanding of Finance Contract Accounting (FI-CA).
20. Experience in configuring and setting up business and technical master data.
21. Knowledge of IDE and market flows, including MOSL.
Desirable experience
The following would be advantageous:
22. Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
23. Exposure to S/4HANA upgrade programmes.
24. Foundational knowledge of ABAP.
25. Experience with systems and third-party integrations.
26. Knowledge of SAP Utilities implementations within the UK water industry.
