Job Description:
We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Project Manager - Shared Prosperity Place Grant Schemes to join our friendly Regeneration Team. This is a Fixed Term position until 31/03/2026, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of the £2m grant fund, supporting projects that promote sustainable growth and enhance the area's appeal for living, visiting, and working. Examples include commercial renovations, residential conversions, green infrastructure, feasibility studies, or strategic acquisitions.
Main duties include:
* Managing the delivery of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund Grant Scheme, including outputs, outcomes, budgets, and reports.
* Establishing and monitoring financial and legal compliance systems in collaboration with NPTCBC Finance and Legal Departments.
* Collaborating with internal and external partners to develop strategies and projects for regeneration.
* Contributing to policies and programs for regeneration and economic development.
* Advising project applicants on eligibility, grant criteria, and application processes.
* Working with stakeholders across sectors to identify and develop project opportunities.
* Assessing project applications, conducting financial due diligence, and presenting to a Funding Panel.
* Preparing reports for boards and senior officers regarding project delivery and procurement.
* Promoting regeneration activities through press releases, social media, and other channels.
* Supporting the development of the department's work program.
* Providing briefings on funding opportunities, projects, and policies.
* Performing any other duties appropriate to the role.
You should have experience in:
* Project Management
* Managing and delivering third-party grant schemes compliantly
* Collaborating with stakeholders across sectors
