The Role As Principal Power Electronics Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing next-generation power electronics for electric motors and drives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will: Lead technical input across design and manufacturing to ensure products meet performance, safety, and sustainability standards. Create and maintain Design Verification Plans for new products. Develop internal test procedures and external test requests at system, sub-system, and component levels. Analyse test data, produce detailed reports, and recommend design improvements. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions. Review and define requirements for new products, driving innovation from concept to production. What You’ll Bring A degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or similar discipline, complemented by industrial experience. Strong theoretical knowledge of power electronics, electrical machines, and drives. High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. Ability to think laterally and creatively. Comfortable stepping outside your core expertise to support all areas of product development.
