Overview of a resourcing consultant
It will be your job to assist the consultants in finding and qualifying candidates for the live vacancies that they are working on.
This will include candidate name gathering, CV formatting, headhunting, interviewing/candidate qualification, interview preparation, referencing, candidate management, database maintenance and ensuring quality assurance compliance. This is just a basic summary with the role requiring additional input in other areas.
Typically, you will work 8:00am until 5pm in the office although on occasion you will need to work earlier or later and attend client or candidate meeting off-site as required.
What skillset/qualities are we looking for
We are totally open to candidates without experience but who demonstrate a positive mindset and a natural ability in sales. You will need to be someone who works well under pressure, has an appreciation for KPIs and is able to sustain the highs and lows that come with a career in recruitment
You must have excellent communication skills, both written & verbal and the ability to adapt to fast paced activity
Have good organisational, administrative and IT skills
Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
Determination, resilience and perseverance to dig in when things don’t quite go your way
