Our newly built care home is nestled in the charming suburb of Pinhoe, Exeter. We provide exceptional Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for 67 residents who deserve the highest standards of support and compassion.
What We Offer
* GBP12.50 per hour
* Flexible contracted hours of 33 or 44 per week, ideal for night shift workers
* Pension scheme, paid DBS, onsite parking, and uniform provided
* 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata, based on a full-time contract)
Your Role
You will provide personalised care to residents during night shifts, assisting with personal routines such as toileting, mobility, and comfort needs. Monitoring residents' wellbeing and promptly communicating any concerns to the nursing team will be key to your role. You will maintain a safe, peaceful environment, ensuring residents feel secure and supported through the night.
You will work closely with the care and housekeeping teams to keep the home clean, safe, and welcoming. Your kindness, attentiveness, and gentle approach will make a real difference, bringing reassurance and comfort when it matters most.
What We're Looking For
* NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care preferred but not essential
* Previous experience in care is a bonus, but a caring attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued
* Compassionate, patient, and respectful with a genuine desire to improve residents' lives
* Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to uphold our values
