Job Title: Complex Care Assistant
Location: SN14 (Wiltshire Area)
Hours: 8 hours per day – Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (10:00am – 5:00pm, flexible if needed)
Pay Rates: £13.50 - £14.36 per hour
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a compassionate, proactive Complex Care Assistant to provide dedicated support to a client living with dementia. This is a part-time position ideally suited to someone who is confident working independently and is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
You will be responsible for supporting the client in their daily routines and encouraging social interaction and engagement, both at home and out in the community. Your role will play a key part in enhancing the client's quality of life and promoting their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing companionship and emotional support
Assisting with daily activities and personal care as required
Planning and engaging in stimulating activities to support cognitive wellbeing
Accompanying the client on outings – a car driver is essential
Ensuring the client feels safe, respected, and supported at all times
Communicating effectively with family members and any healthcare professionals involved in the client’s care
About You:
Previous experience working with clients who have dementia
A caring, compassionate, and patient approach
Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle
Experience working in a domiciliary or home care setting
