Pay rate: Competitive and reflecting the Teacher Pay Scale.
About the Role
TeacherActive partners with a high‑achieving and inclusive secondary school in Birmingham, with approximately 1,000 students on roll. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the school’s curriculum.
* Support students of all abilities to make progress.
* Participate in relevant CPD training opportunities.
* Attend parents’ evenings and contribute to the wider school community.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science.
* Specialism in Chemistry with proven classroom experience at KS3 and KS4.
* A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A commitment to professional growth and collaborative working.
