Job Title: Customer Service SpecialistLocation: Studley (Office-Based)Salary: Competitive + BenefitsContract Type: Full-time, PermanentAbout the Role:We’re recruiting for a Customer Service Specialist to join a fast-paced logistics operation within a leading European provider of reusable packaging solutions. As part of a growing UK function, you will support key customer processes, ensure smooth end-to-end service delivery, and play an integral role in the daily operation of the Customer Service Team.This is a varied, hands-on position that involves customer communication, order processing, financial checks, administrative tasks, SAP updates and supporting key account activity. You’ll be a crucial link between customers, logistics teams and internal departments, helping maintain a high standard of accuracy, efficiency and customer experience.It’s an ideal role for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and confident working in a busy supply chain or service environment.Key Responsibilities:Customer Communication & SupportAct as a main point of contact for customers via phone and emailHandle, resolve and record customer complaints professionallyProvide ongoing support and online training to customersCustomer Onboarding & Account Management (SAP)Manage customer onboarding including registration, documentation and credit checksEnsure onboarding processes are completed within SLA timeframesMaintain up-to-date customer records and accurate permissionsApply correct pricing rules and ensure accurate tray movement dataOrder & Financial Process ManagementProcess customer orders including amendments, cancellations and pricing queriesAddress invoice and credit note enquiriesReview customer balance, overdue payments and credit cover dailyWork with customers to ensure orders can be processed accurately and on timeSupplier to Retailer Transaction ManagementMatch supplier and retailer data, identifying discrepanciesCommunicate differences and actions required to suppliersAnalyse trends and success rates and provide findings to the Key Account ManagerSupport customers in resolving discrepanciesReporting & AdministrationProduce customer, sales and business reports using ExcelSupport updates and maintenance of internal work instructionsComplete all administrative tasks to assist customers and internal teamsPerform general office management dutiesCandidate Profile:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office with at least intermediate Excel ability1+ year experience in Customer Service, Sales Support or AdministrationLogistics or supply chain experience (desirable)SAP experience (desirable)Strong attention to detail with high accuracyAble to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentProactive, customer-focused and a strong team playerWhat Our Client Offers:Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00 working hours (bank holidays required)25 days holiday + your birthday off4% employer pension contributionPrivate medical insuranceLife assurance (4× salary)Employee discounts programmeEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP) for free mental health, legal & financial supportHow to Apply:If you’re a detail-driven, customer-focused professional looking for a busy and rewarding role within a growing logistics environment, we’d love to hear from you.About Us:We are a recruitment agency specialising in commercial, operational, and customer-facing roles across the UK.
