Clinical Fellow in Dermatology The closing date is 11 June 2026.
We are pleased to advertise for a 1 WTE (40 hours) dermatology clinical fellow to join our experienced dermatology team in Oxford. The role provides training, work and teaching opportunities within a recognised centre of excellence.
Main duties of the job
Attend daily consultant‑led skin cancer screening clinics, managing 34 patients per day including new referrals, routine new and follow‑up patients.
Participate in minor operations clinics with consultant, registrar, fellow and/or GP assistance.
Work in a range of general, specialised and surgical clinics, performing skin surgery and reviewing urgent out‑patients and ward patients.
Supervise the daily care of in‑patients and attend ward rounds as required.
Complete associated administration in a thorough and timely manner.

Person Specification Qualifications/Training
MBChB or equivalent MRCP.
General medical training to CT2 level or equivalent GP training.
Higher medical degree.
Experience
General medical training to CT2 level or equivalent.
Ability to make decisions at specialist training level.
Additional experience in translational research.
Experience in skin surgery.
Skills and Knowledge
Leadership, organisational, communication, professional and personal skills to undertake effectively the role of a surgical fellow in dermatology.
Good personal and interpersonal skills.
Good spoken and written English; highly developed communication skills.
Experience of teaching undergraduates.
Experience of routine clinical audit.
Knowledge of NHS organisation and the Government's modernisation agenda.
Management training and experience.
Active research portfolio with publications.
Other Requirements
Full GMC Registration.
Driving licence.
