The Company
Solis have partnered with a fast-growing sports retailer looking for a dedicated Product and Inventory Specialist, to take ownership of the stock management and eCommerce listings side of the business.

The Role
As the Product and Inventory Specialist, you will own stock management, analyse data and ensure eCommerce listings are updated and correct. The role is crucial to ensuring stock received is in the right condition, logging it, creating product titles and ensuring it stored correctly for pickers and packers to locate.

As the first point of call for stock, you are essentially enabling the rest of the business to succeed, and as such will need someone dedicated to ensure products are uploaded correctly, with a keen eye for detail.

Day to day responsibilities include:
Receive, inspect & accurately log all incoming stock, raising issues with suppliers where needed
Create product titles, SKUs, take photos & place items in correct warehouse locations
Maintain a clean, organised warehouse & ensure all goods are properly labelled & stored
Push beyond regular hours when needed to maximise sales by putting more stock online for sale
Monitor stock levels, carry out regular stock checks & resolve any stock system discrepancies or issues
Liaising with wider areas of the businesses, identifying ways to improve workflows and drive efficiency

About you
The role itself need someone with high-standards, is naturally process driven and continuously explores ways to improve business operations.

It also needs someone with a broad depth of sports knowledge, who understands the value of signed items and can handle the responsibility of working with some of the most unique and exclusive sporting items in the world.

You will have/be:
Highly organized and process-driven, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to create and maintain systems for receiving, logging, and storing inventory.
Adaptable and ambitious, with the desire to learn new skills and grow into a leadership position as the company scales.
Data-savvy, with strong analytical skills to monitor stock levels, conduct checks, and resolve any discrepancies in the inventory system.
A self-starter who is willing to work evenings and weekends when needed to process stock and maximize sales.
A sports fanatic who understands the value and exclusivity of the memorabilia they will be handling and can be trusted to handle these items with the utmost care and precision.
The organisation will invest and continue to develop the person in the role. You will initially own the entire process yourself & as the business grows, this position will evolve into a team to which you'd be expected to lead.
