Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Fire Safety Advisor to join our specialist Strategic Fire Safety team. This role is crucial in supporting our second line of defence by designing and implementing fire safety policies, providing expert guidance, managing risks, implementing audits, monitoring compliance, and promoting best practices.
The team consists of eight members. Reporting to one of the Senior Strategic Fire Safety Advisors, you will provide advice and support on fire safety to staff and management at all levels.
Main Duties:
* Driving exemplary fire safety practices across all workplaces
* Monitoring and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and standards
* Designing and delivering fire safety training sessions and auditing operational teams
* Communicating effectively, being personable, and fostering a safety culture
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum NEBOSH Fire Certificate (or equivalent) and affiliation with a recognized fire safety institute
* Experience as a Fire Safety Advisor in a multi-site environment, ideally in the Housing Sector
* In-depth knowledge of building regulations and British Standards related to fire safety
* IT literacy, with experience using Microsoft Office for reports, statistics, and training

Additional Information:
You may be required to travel to other offices, properties, or resident meetings. A UK driving license and access to a vehicle are desirable.
