COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Commissioning Engineer to join the team at Thames, a Galliford Try business.
* Responsible for the commissioning delivery of the assigned project.
* Ensure full understanding of the MEICA requirements of the project, including interfaces with existing equipment and processes.
* Develop the Project Commissioning Plan, Strategy, and documentation, ensuring timely completion and alignment with project scope and constraints. Provide an outline strategy at design stage and develop into detailed plans at project completion, with regular monitoring.
* Work with the client Asset Operations Team to ensure full integration with existing assets.
* Ensure all MEICA installation work meets technical requirements, client specifications, Asset Standards, and Water Industry Standards where applicable.
* Adhere to Galliford Try MEICA & Commissioning processes and procedures.
* Organize and supervise testing and commissioning activities.
* Engage with specialist support functions to understand project needs and deliverables.
* Ensure training plans are delivered as per schedule, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors as needed.
* Coordinate with the client Asset Integrator for project takeover deliverables and review meetings.
* Coordinate MEICA & commissioning activities with resources to meet project requirements and schedule.
About You:
* Minimum of X years’ experience in the water industry.
* Ability to manage site delivery of MEICA / Commissioning and interface with clients effectively.
* Proven success in MEICA & Commissioning delivery through to project takeover.
* Knowledge of project management tools and health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Understanding of water industry processes and equipment.
* Relevant certifications: CSCS/ECS, EUSR Water Hygiene, SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid, BS Electrical Standards.
